Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
